RSO Course in Exeter NH
Posted on June 6th, 2016

Our summer RSO course is running from June 6-10 in historic Exeter NH. This accredited 40-hour course provides students with a balance of technical and theoretical information along with practical applications of radiation safety. Fundamental concepts are presented in a logical progression, providing a sound basis for understanding the day-to-day requirements of the Radiation Safety Officer.

RSCS chose to relocate our course to Exeter NH to provide our students with all that this classic New England town has to offer.  Situated by the NH Seacoast, Exeter provides a look back to the thriving mill towns that were located along the river ways of New England.  Established in 1638, this town made use of the confluence of the Exeter and Squamscott rivers to establish grist mills, sawmills and textile mills that were in operation through the 19th century.  Home of Phillips Exeter Academy, founded in 1781, the town provides an array of antique homes and buildings, scenic boulevards and parks, and a bustling down town full of shops and restaurants.

Our current students include professionals from universities, private industry, power generation, medical facilities and regulatory agencies.  They have traveled to Exeter NH from states in the North and South East, and Midwest, and from other countries, including Abu Dhabi.  We hope our students will enjoy their stay!
