RSCS Receives ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation from ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board
Posted on September 23rd, 2016

RSCS has recently been granted ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for our instrument calibration laboratory from the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB).  RSCS had previously been accredited by the Health Physics Society‚Äôs Laboratory Assessment Committee.  This accrediting body was certified by NACLA, which is a nationally recognized body.  ANAB is certified through ILAC, an internationally recognized credentialing body.  As such, our recent accreditation will be recognized for domestic and international clients of our radiation detection instrumentation calibrations.

Noteworthy of mention is that the calibration of neutron detection instrumentation is now included on our Scope of Accreditation.  RSCS is the first laboratory in the US to receive ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for neutron calibrations.  At this time, we are also the only laboratory that can offer an accredited calibration for neutron detection instruments.  We are proud to be the front runner in this category of service.
